Progress Update 10

It’s been another great week onsite with the competion of the lower steel frame roof. Yesterday the team even managed to install the ceiling over the kennel room – which will eventually be conceted for added sound protection.

There’s also been more core fillling of internal block walls, and settng out of the reo in the outdoor courtyard, in preperation for more concrete being poured tomorrow. (It’s very surprising the sheer volume the build is requiring. And we haven’t even got to the ashphalt carpark yet, ha).

We’ve also been engaging various other trades this week such as finalising the termite protection to ensure the slab is well secured; plus are in liasion with the Bio Cycle gurus who will commence their install and conversion of the main home before Christmas.

On the interiors front our pluming fixtures and fittings have been selected, cabinetry deisgn and colours ordered and brand new animal cages selected in grey. We’re still in discussions regardng the choice and colouring of vinyl flooring and if we should opt for a two tone look ‘n’ feel. What do you think?
