Windaroo Vet Surgery Animal Hospital is a dynamic, family owned business that commenced servicing the Logan community and their beloved pets in 2008.

Owner and veterinarian Dr Shibly Mustapha BVSc ( Hons) and his entire professional team, are passionate animal enthusiasts who each pride themselves on offering you, personal service.

Our hospital offers clients thorough examinations for simple routine health checks and vaccinations, and are able to present you with solutions when managing ongoing or complicated problems. Often it’s simply the support and understanding from our team that is needed when making decisions regarding your pets health.

Recently, the Federal Department of Agriculture & Fisheries passed legislation to provide veterinarians with Essential Service status – meaning that regardless of lockdowns and mandatory closures, we can continue to operate. Our Team

Lisa has been a practicing Veterinarian for almost 30 years, the majority of that time in small animal practice. She had also worked overseas throughout the UK. She has a Masters in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from Melbourne University, and is a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Canine Medicine. She has a special interest in surgical and theatre practices.

Nikki has been practicing as a veterinarian for the past 20 years. She has worked in and around the Logan region, during that time. She enjoys spending time with her 2 children and 2 dogs.

Born and raised in North Queensland, Sarah graduated from James Cook University, Townsville in 2018 and made the move to Brisbane to work at WVS. She loves all aspects of general practice and has a keen interest in small animal medicine and clinical pathology. Sarah spends her spare time with her family and her rescue Kelpie, Lavender.

Originally from Cairns in Far North QLD, Lili moved down south to join the WVS team after graduating from James Cook University. Lili has a keen interest in all aspects of general practice but particularly enjoys small animal internal medicine, surgery and clinical pathology. Lili has a 16 year old staffy cross named Jess.

Veterinary Nurse
Millie joined us in 2017 as a veterinary nursing student, studying towards her certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She has officially become part of our nursing team in 2018 on completion of her studies. Millie has previously worked in a Dog Groomer where she gained four years experience in animal handling and grooming. At home, Millie has one dog, Dee and a family dog, Winslow.

Amanda is an experienced orthopaedic surgical nurse. She has two Springer Spaniels, Winston and Chester.

Josie joins our team with over four years experience in the veterinary industry. She has a passion for cats, in particular a four-legged-feline appropriately named 'kitty'. Previously a dental nurse, Josie's transferable skill set is an asset to our team.

Bronwyn has been in the veterinary/pet industry for more than 20 years. She has worked in Brisbane and the UK. Bronwyn has an extensive knowledge relating to pet food and pet products.

Chrissy joins our family team having previously worked as a dental nurse and real estate agent. Her passion for the welfare of animals has brought her to WVS. Welcome aboard Chrissy!

Megan is currently a high school student with aspirations to study vet science and become a veterinarian. She loves animals having two dogs of her own, and currently works with the WVS team each Saturday.

Trainee

Tanja started nursing 26-years ago studying through the Ithaca Tafe in Brisbane and has experience running her own puppy pre- school.   Her love of animals has recently seen her return to vet nursing with the WVS team. At home she has, Beautiful Bella a (Maltese Shitzu) Cheeky Bailey a (Chihuahua) and a cat named Prince (Devon Rex).

Lena was born in New Zealand and has been in Australia for over eight years. She has grown up around horses which is where her passion remains. Lena has completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

Our family owned and operated veterinary surgery has been providing a valuable service to the local Logan community and their beloved pets for over seven years. Since 2008, owners Lisa Trickett (Roberts) and husband Dave Trickett have been leading a professional team who strive to provide you – our valued clients – with knowledgeable diagnosis’ and up to date and practical treatment options.

Our team of qualified veterinarians and support staff aim to provide a personalised service and compassionate pet care to all patients who visit our surgery. Our unique point of difference is that we are a small enough practice to be able to arrange appointments to see your preferred veterinarian each time you visit.
