Progress Update: Twelve

Another week has passed and progress has been ticking over nicely. Our fascia, guttering and Build Safe safety barriers were installed on Saturday and not soon after work quickly began on laying the black roof tiles. The schedule should see the lower roof also fully complete by Christmas next week.

We’ve also seen the very last of core filling the retaining walls (phew) with water proofing and backfilling with soil currently in opertion today and tomorrow. Concreters have also promised the remaining slab around the pool to be complete before Santa drops down our chimney next Thursday night.

Luke and his small team have been busy finalising the steel frame, with an engineers inspection scheduled for today. Fingers crossed all is secure and sturdy.

We will be taking one week off site (and hence blogging) but will be back on deck week commencing 4th January 2016 with more progress updates. Wishing you, your families and your beloved pets a very Merry Christmas and happy New Year.
