As we draw to the end of week 18 in our build process (which was infact also a short week due to Australia Day) we are amazed at the considerable progress of all our trades.

Happy New Year from Windaroo Veterinary Surgery and the hobbs building team. We’ve all had a refreshing Christmas break spent with family and friends and are now back into the thick of our building project.

Another week has passed and progress has been ticking over nicely. Our fascia, guttering and Build Safe safety barriers were installed on Saturday and not soon after work quickly began on laying the black roof tiles.
Progress Update Eleven
We’ve progressed (quickly) to week 12 of the build – around abouts the half way mark. And this week we’ve seen progress in the courtyard with a detailed concrete pour including a set of stairs which will eventually gain access to the second storey.
Progress Update 10
It’s been another great week onsite with the competion of the lower steel frame roof. Yesterday the team even managed to install the ceiling over the kennel room – which will eventually be conceted for added sound protection.
Progress Update Nine
It’s week 10 here on “The Block” and it’s been all systems GO for our builder and tradies. The steel frame has continued to progress at a Usain Bolt pace and today we’re currenty peering into the soon-to-be residential home above the vet hospital.
Progress Update Eight
It’s only Wednesday which is half way into week nine of our build, but we were just so darn excited about our new hospital finally taking shape that we needed to share this post and pics with you asap. Luke and his team (namely his brother Mark) have been busy measuring and flicking out the lines for the frame.
