Check out our new premises and state-of-the-art equipment

Happy New Year! If you haven’t yet had the opportunity to view our brand new Animal Hospital, we wanted to share our latest interior and exterior pictures. The landscaping has made an impact to the exterior appearance, while the handmade cabinetry and custom equipment looks right at home. Thank you to all our valued and new clients for making us feel right at home here in Bahrs Scrub.

The Offical Opening of WVS Animal Hospital

What a great day we had!
The official opening of WVS Animal Hospital with Mayor Luke Smith and Councilor Laurie Koranski was a success. We had an excellent turn out of 150 people from the local community, despite the rain.

Progress Update: Week 34
As the Windaroo Veterinery Surgery Animal Hospital build draws to a close, we want to thank all our a trades, suppliers and staff who have made this build possible.

Finishing touches + Landscaping begins

Progress Update: Week Twenty Four
It is very exciting now, we are getting down to the final decorative touches. There is a bit of work to go with the landscaping throughout the outdoor dog area and the entrance.

New Build

Bring on the finishing hospital touches

Progress Update: Twenty Three
Progress has continued at record speed in particular this week with the downstairs hospital really taking shape. The much debated vinyl flooring has been layed and coved up the white custom cabinetry. This really makes a huge difference by making the space feel much more finished!

Progress Update: Twenty Two
High fives to all the trades involved this past week who’ve managed to turn a dusty concrete-rabbit-warren into what is begining to look like a very flash animal hospital.

New Build

Progress Update: Twenty One
We’re into March 2016 and time has flown by. The build is running roughly to schedule and estimated to commence transition of the old-to-new-practice over Easter with an opening date of early April.

New Build

On the home stretch

Progress Update: Twenty
Happy Monday! We’re now on the home stretch with each and every day seeing remarkable progress in both the upstairs and downstairs buildings.

New Build

Upstairs near completion

Progress Update: Nineteen
We’ve reached week 21 in our build (progress update 19) and are very pleased to say that the upstairs is almost near finished and looking fabulous – complete with Dave’s stone bench top.

New Build

Bringing it all together one element at a time

Progress Update: Eighteen
It’s been a hectic week onsite (once again) with some of our trades working 13 hour days, weekend work and battling the heat and rain of the weather.

Please ensure you carry a face mask to wear when close to others. Any person with respiratory signs should stay home and not come to the hospital. Please ask a friend to bring your pet in if required.
