Meet the adorable little cutie, Sky, the juvenile Indian Ringneck Parakeet. Sky’s owners brought him in when they noticed one of his toenails on his left foot was sticking up at an odd angle. Dr Laura soon discovered that he had partially torn the nail off, and the end of the toe was a little swollen. Sky had a short gas anaesthetic to allow us to remove the affected nail and bandage the toe. After a course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatories, this brave little guy should return to health in no time!
